Hiring Department The Department of Psychiatry Job Description The Department of Psychiatry has an exciting opportunity for one full-time, licensed Nurse Practitioner to join our growing Psychiatry team. The Department of Psychiatry at the University of Missouri is dedicated to the treatment of patients, education of learners and research into mental illness. (This position is a dual post linked to Job ID 54648 -Physician Assistant - Department of Psychiatry and the department will be hiring for two positions.) Shift Shift Type: Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (Clinical) Office/Administrative Hours: No - Position will not have Office/Admin Hours Flexibility for Alternative Schedules: No Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in nursing is required. Missouri Board of Nursing RN or Nurse Licensure Compact multi-state RN. reputed company primary state of residency changes, compact state RNs must apply under new state of residency reputed company thirty (30) days. Preparation as a nurse practitioner in either a Master's program or a certificate program. Must be granted a “Document of Recognition” from the Missouri Board of Nursing. Preferred Qualifications Preferred Qualifications Education: Graduation from a certified NP/PA program and Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant licensure in the reputed company Credentials: AP/MHNP, F/MHNP, CAQ-Psychiatry, PA-C, strong background in mental/behavioral health.
