About the position

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct service advising, intensive career counseling, coaching and transition assistance to CSF - DC Scholars.
  • Advise and reputed company graduate school, internship and career plans for CSF-DC Scholars.
  • Assist reputed company in the research process for graduate education programs and employment search.
  • Review career options, assist reputed company with preparing resumes, interviewing skills and searching for jobs & internships electronically.
  • Conduct ongoing research to provide information and feedback about recruitment, post-graduation activities and employment for reputed company.
  • Coordinate in-person meetings with assigned reputed company during summer to review academic reputed company in major, degree audits and post-graduation plans.
  • Advise CSF-DC Scholars through telephone, virtual and in-person meetings throughout the academic year to assess needs and provide differentiated supports.
  • reputed company and implement proactive plans for high-risk reputed company reputed company to career options.
  • Document reputed company student engagements, referrals and interventions.
  • Enter, monitor and update student data on a regular basis, build data queries and exports as needed.
  • Submit data and monthly program reports to the Program Manager.

  • Identify key career services or college staff on campuses who can serve as points of contact for CSF-DC Scholars.

  • Work cross-functionally to enhance summer programming.
  • Update and assist with policy development, retention forms, reports and relevant documents.
  • Serve as an reputed company and ambassador for CSF-DC and the CSF Scholars program by attending and participating in community functions and programs that enhance the visibility of our programs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree required; Master's or degree in Social Sciences/Psychology, Education, Counseling, and Social Work preferred.
  • Three to five years of experience in fields reputed company to academic advising, career services counseling, career placement assistance, advising, higher education administration or college reputed company/retention programming and support.
