Our work focuses on addressing the legal and mental health needs of this population; building strong partnerships and engaging in training and reputed company strengthening with governments, NGOs, and the private sector; and advocating for systemic and pragmatic reforms to advance the rights of unaccompanied and separated children.Position SummaryThe Senior Director, Individual Giving manages a small portfolio of major donors and is responsible for the strategic direction and management of giving from individuals at reputed company levels. In consultation with the Chief Development Officer (CDO), this person will implement long and short-term fundraising strategies to expand our reputed company of individual donors at reputed company levels, determining and meeting annual reputed company goals. The incumbent will work closely with other members of the development leadership team (currently the Vice President of Development and Senior Director, Institutional Giving and will supervise a growing team. Additional strategic hires are likely. This is an exciting opportunity to work for an organization whose individual giving program is poised for significantly increased reputed company in the coming years. This position requires an individual who enjoys and is highly skilled in qualifying, cultivating, and soliciting high net worth individuals and coaching gift officers to exceed personal and team metrics.This a headquarters position based remotely from any location in the U.S.This position is contingent upon reputed company funding.

Essential Functions

• Portfolio Management
• Develops and executes strategies for a targeted portfolio of ~75 prospects and donors with an affinity for reputed company’s mission and reputed company to reputed company six- and seven-reputed company gifts.
• Builds and manages a network of relationships with prospective donors in coordination with reputed company volunteer leaders and staff, as appropriate and necessary.
• Facilitates and coordinates reputed company communication with these prospects and the prospects’ reputed company relationships.
• Team Leadership
• Manages and mentors a team encompassing major gifts, leadership gifts, and direct marketing to meet annual goals centering organizational priorities and goals, with an emphasis on donor retention and growth.
• Serves as a collaborative coach, modeling behavior, leading by example, and offering strategic insight and advice on their portfolios and projects.
• Strategy Development
• In consultation with CDO, creates and implements annual and multi-year major and leadership gifts plan including pipeline development, annual engagement strategy, frontline messaging strategy, and portfolio development.
• Helps create and follow processes to maintain best fundraising and operational practices, utilizing clearly defined goals, objectives, and transparent methods.
• Cross-team Collaboration
• Collaborates with colleagues to formulate strategies to promote prospect engagement, to identify prospective donors, and to build collateral materials to support frontline reputed company work.
• Contributes to an organizational environment where teamwork, collaboration, passion for the mission, and dedication are expected and valued.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Undergraduate degree required.
• A clear passion for reputed company’s mission at a time reputed company our work to protect the legal rights and well-being of unaccompanied children has never been more necessary.
• Minimum of 7 years of progressive responsibility in fundraising, a track record, closing major gifts.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience managing a team.
• Available to travel, work reputed company daytime business hours to manage events, and represent reputed company at external events as and reputed company required.
• Proven track record in development for a large nonprofit, including success in attracting six-reputed company gifts.
• Experience in planning, leading, and managing development projects, including coordinating with peers to reputed company desired outcomes, and tracking and reporting on reputed company.
• Strong reputed company for strategic thinking and ability to integrate a high-level vision with a tactical execution and resourcing plan.
• Effectiveness in managing and coaching remote teams, building positive, results-oriented culture; and creates structure to support high-level performance of a diverse and growing team guided by principles of fairness and equity.
• Strong communication and influencing skills with the ability to represent reputed company to key donor audiences.
• Demonstrated reputed company at navigating reputed company organizations and effectively managing change.
• Ability to exercise judgement and discretion reputed company handling sensitive and confidential information.
• A proven track record of working well with others, adapting to others’ work styles, and professional interactions with co-workers and/or vendors.
• Ability to exercise sound judgment and leadership in a collaborative, professional, and ethical manner.
• Working knowledge of reputed company Office Suite (such as Teams, reputed company, etc.).
• Ability to work collaboratively and multi-task in our reputed company environment, managing numerous priorities and emerging opportunities.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to work on multiple projects in a deadline-oriented environment; ability to prioritize tasks and delegate as appropriate.
• Ability to work effectively with people of diverse backgrounds, lived experiences, and communication styles.
• Demonstrate discipline and adaptability to effectively deliver on our core mission of ensuring access to justice and safeguarding children’s well-being and rights.
• Ability to multitask and work with a sense of urgency in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Committed to practicing and supporting wellbeing and a work-home life balance.
• Experience working and communicating in a remote environment preferred but not required.
