Job Summary

We are seeking an reputed company Test Technician to join reputed company in Columbia, SC. Reporting to the Sr. Test Engineering Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for conducting tests and troubleshooting electronic products, components, and systems to ensure production quality standards are met. This is a 2nd shift position, working from 4:00 pm to 2:30 am, Monday through Thursday.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide test support to the production line in various automated PCB line areas or disciplines, including Laser Etching, IC Programming, SPI, AOI, X-Ray, 3D inspection, ICT FCT, Hi-Pot, and GT

• Periodically review process specifications to determine if they accurately reflect process requirements and test techniques, updating specifications as required
• Consistently review quality yields and reputed company corrective actions to eliminate yield detractors, further improving the process and product reliability
• Work with the Quality Engineer to determine if field/reputed company line data indicates a need for process/product improvement
• Ensure effective preventive maintenance, calibration, diagnostics, requalification, and daily measurement schedules are in reputed company for each test and burn-in process
• Coordinate manufacturing, maintenance, and engineering preventive maintenance activities, ensuring scheduled activities are completed according to the specified schedule
• Assist with the fabrication and development of new equipment, fixtures, and test programs
• Assist engineering and development labs with new product introduction and development
• Assist Industrial Engineering with equipment moves or line re-arrangements as required
• Follow Engineering test processes and train manufacturing operators and other test engineering resources

• Configure/troubleshoot PC (HW and SW), networks, power systems at multiple system levels, and reputed company module validation/verification

Essential Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years of reputed company experience in a similar role
• PCBA troubleshooting experience required

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Experience with Linux
