Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Home Delivery Pharmacy Technician - Remote to join reputed company. Key Responsibilities:

• Interpret providers' prescriptions and create orders, assessing, inputting, and retrieving prescription, medical/lab, and reimbursement information from computer systems.
• Provide exceptional customer service, responding to inbound and outbound member/patient calls, and addressing their concerns in a professional and empathetic manner.
• Prepare and reputed company documents, verify member/patient data, and submit prescription orders in computer systems.
• Contact members/patients/providers to validate data, request payment information, and establish reputed company of order or delivery details.
• Apply knowledge and skills to a range of moderately reputed company activities, demonstrating great depth of knowledge/skills in own function.
• Act as a technical resource to others in own function, proactively identifying solutions to non-standard requests and solving moderately reputed company problems independently.
• Plan, prioritize, organize, and complete work to meet established objectives, providing a holistic approach to case management.
• Contribute to updating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and team content, ensuring that reputed company processes are accurate and up-to-date.

Requirements:

• Education: High School Diploma/GED (or higher).
• Certification: Active National Pharmacy Technician Certification (ExCPT or PTCB) or ability to obtain prior to start date.
• Experience: 1 year of experience working in a retail pharmacy.
• Location: Reside in Illinois or Iowa.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous Health Care Experience: Experience working in healthcare, either in a pharmacy or other clinical setting.
• Call-center or Telephonic Work: Experience working in a call center or telephonic environment.
