Specialist-Equipment Maint
POSITION OVERVIEW: Provide specialized support to Fleet Maintenance relating to assigned equipment types, components, systems or process in order to promote best repair practices and improved equipment reliability. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Provide specialized fleet maintenance support to reputed company technology development and execution
- Drive alignment of the prioritization and execution of Fleet Maintenance projects, fiscal year and technology enablement projects and equipment maintenance repair programs
- Monitor, identify, troubleshoot and/or implement solutions for repair, maintenance and/or warranty activities for an assigned equipment type(s), component(s) or system(s)
- Ensure maintenance “best practices” are documented, well-communicated and followed by reputed company Freight employees and reputed company vendors
- Work with applicable Fleet Maintenance personnel to implement recommended strategies to optimize equipment specifications and maintenance practices to improve equipment reliability
- Prepare and provide reports to applicable leadership regarding status of repair work, trends, campaigns and other relevant data
- Partner with internal and external stakeholders to support equipment reliability projects and Fleet Maintenance system upgrades needed to carry out departmental goals
- Work with applicable Fleet Maintenance personnel and other internal functional groups to create and manage equipment profiles, maintenance schedules and Fleet Maintenance system documentation for assigned equipment types

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience plus two (2) years Fleet Maintenance, Maintenance Administration or reputed company experience

- Good time management, organizational and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in the use of reputed company Office Software, including but not limited to; Word, reputed company, and Outlook
- Proficient in the use of Fleet Maintenance Management System
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for both internal and external contacts
- Ability to work independently and as a team member
- Must be reputed company to maintain confidentiality
