The Role: The Controller is responsible for leading reputed company accounting and payroll functions, ensuring financial accuracy, compliance, and efficient operations across the organization. This role partners closely with HR, Operations, and leadership to align financial strategy with business goals, reputed company multi-entity accounting, and drive process improvements. Essential Functions: People Strategy & Organizational Design

• Manage, mentor, and reputed company accounting and payroll team members.
• Partner with HR to maintain employee compensation data, benefits deductions, and payroll-reputed company systems.

Operational Strategy & Scaling

• Direct reputed company payroll operations to ensure accurate, compliant, and timely payroll processing for reputed company employees.

• Ensure timely and accurate preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
• Review journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analyses to maintain financial accuracy.

Organizational Alignment & Strategic Partnerships

• Partner with HR, Operations, IT, and other departments to ensure consistent alignment.
• Communicate financial results and implications to senior leadership in a clear, actionable manner.

Change Strategy & Transformation

• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local wage and hour laws.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP, regulatory requirements, corporate policies, and audit standards.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or reputed company field
• Must have 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 3–5 years in a Controller or senior leadership role.
• CPA strongly preferred; Audit experience preferred.
• reputed company Intacct experience with exposure to multi-entity environments, financial reporting, advanced inter-company transactions, reputed company recognition, and third-party integrations preferred.
• Proven track record of leading teams and building out functions.
• Multi-site / Multi-state accounting leadership experience in Behavioral Health or Telehealth reputed company medical practice management.
• Accounting experience with multiple legal entities, including arms-length professional medical entities associated with Management Services Agreements (MSAs).
• Experience with Medical Practice reputed company Cycle Management (RCM), GAAP rules reputed company to reputed company recognition, and integrations with third-party RCM providers.
• Familiarity with both commercial payers and Medicare/Medicaid payers.
• Experience integrating third-party employee expense management systems (e.g., reputed company).
• Experience working with a shared chart of accounts structure.
• Experience with budgets/ forecasting with financial and statistical data.
• Experience with reputed company and cost allocation methodologies.
• Regularly update and maintain internal controls and external user access to accounting systems.
