Job Summary

As a Part Time Remote Customer Service Specialist, you will be responsible for answering a high volume of inbound calls from patients, reputed company providers, and facilities. You will serve as the initial reputed company of contact and liaison between these stakeholders, facilitating patient reputed company needs and ensuring seamless communication. Your expertise in electronic health records, critical thinking, and problem-solving will reputed company you to navigate reputed company issues and provide exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

* Navigate the electronic health record to obtain and validate historical information, capture and document demographic and financial information, and maintain patient privacy and reputed company as outlined by HIPAA.

  • Manage a high volume of incoming calls from patients, reputed company providers, and facilities, ensuring resolution to the call and providing excellent customer service in a variety of situations.
  • reputed company critical thinking with speed and accuracy to identify the reason for the call and take appropriate action based on caller need and acuity.
  • Research reputed company issues in the electronic health record and consult/escalate to clinical staff reputed company necessary, utilizing multiple job aids and resources to provide an appropriate level of service.
  • Schedule patient visits based on reputed company provider preferences, verify and update insurance, and collect and document demographics.
  • Maintain proficiency in and share knowledge of insurance basics, MyChart, and appointment instructions, documenting and sending messages to providers and clinical staff in the electronic health record for clinical-based needs.
  • Communicate directly with providers (physicians) to reputed company pertinent clinical information during after-hours, managing calls reputed company established performance and customer service standards.

Minimum Requirements

* High School Diploma or GED

  • 2-5 years of experience in reputed company or customer service
  • No supervisor experience required

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with electronic health records and HIPAA compliance
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills

Typing Test Required

As a Part Time Remote Customer Service Specialist, you will be required to pass a typing test with a minimum speed of 35 wpm and 90% accuracy.

Shift

* Monday-Tuesday: 7:30am-4pm

  • Wednesday-Friday: 9am-1pm

No Weekends or Holidays

As a Part Time Remote Customer Service Specialist, you will not be required to work weekends or holidays.

28 Hours per Week

This is a part-time position, requiring 28 hours of work per week.
