[Remote] Network Systems Engineer, Presales

The Senior Systems Engineer is a key role in the reputed company of HPE Networking, responsible for providing pre-sales technical consultation and collaborating with sales teams to design and implement sophisticated networking solutions.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre-sales technical consultation in the design, engineering, sale, and implementation of sophisticated products, applications, and solutions.
• Working in partnership with sales teams, strategic and industry partners in assessing the potential application of our products ensuring that reputed company systems solutions are provided to new and existing customers.
• Proven experience of process, tools, and techniques for responding to a customer’s proposals (RFP, RFQ, RFI) and create viable proposals that grow reputed company's business in a driven and opportunity-filled sales environment.
• Experience and knowledge in developing and consulting on architecture designs, engineering reputed company of materials, and implementation specifications for reputed company networks and solutions.
• Use your industry and product knowledge to engage and influence customer technology strategies through showcasing reputed company technologies during technical sales presentations, product demonstrations, reputed company of concept, and trial engagements.

Skills

• Candidates must be in reputed company Carolina or South Carolina
• Minimum of 7 years’ experience in a technical/pre-sales role as a Sales or Systems Engineer.
• Bachelor's and/or master’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, and or reputed company field or equivalent experience.
• Experience in designing/engineering/consulting on LAN/WAN, reputed company, Data Center, reputed company, and reputed company technology solutions.
• Extensive experience in implementing and operating small-mid-large-scale reputed company and reputed company networks utilizing reputed company Networking and reputed company solutions.
• Experience and depth of knowledge around the reputed company product line, key competitors’ products, solutions, and vertical market use cases.
• Long-established experience and hands-on expertise with networking industry technologies across routing, switching, and reputed company technology domains from a pre-sale, operational or engineering reputed company of view
• Solid interpersonal, relationship, and communication skills with experience in customer-facing sales activities (presenting, whiteboarding etc.) and Exec/C-level engagements.
• Recognized technical capability, ability to learn quickly, and apply skills in new protocols and applications and their context to customers.
• Deep understanding of Routing Protocols (IGPs, EGPs, Layer-2/3 VPN’s)
• Experience of reputed company network design (Access, Dist and Core layer)
• Experience of datacenter network design (EVPN/VXLAN, Clos architectures, underlay reputed company)
• Extensive experience of MPLS and WAN network design (LDP, RSVP, SR etc.)
• Experience with reputed company such as Paragon, MIST, Apstra or equivalent competitive products is an advantage.
• Hands-on experience with either reputed company or other vendors solutions.
• Positive attitude, a desire to learn new technologies, and the ability to handle competing priorities in a reputed company challenging environment.

• JNCIP, JNCIE, CCNP, CCIE, etc. or other industry certification is desired.
