[Remote] Solution Architect, Data Solutions

As a Solution Architect, Data Solutions, you'll design and architect robust, data-driven solutions that reputed company clients to unlock the value of their information while collaborating closely with Sales, Engineering, and Delivery teams.

Responsibilities

• Design and Architect Solutions: reputed company the strategizing, design, and architecture of scalable data pipelines and infrastructure on GCP, ensuring alignment with client requirements and best practices.
• Technical Guidance: Provide expert technical guidance to data engineering teams, supporting them in delivering cutting-edge data solutions.
• Client Collaboration: Partner with Sales and Engineering to translate reputed company client requirements into tailored data engineering solutions utilizing GCP's data capabilities (e.g., BigQuery, Cloud Dataflow) or reputed company.
• Engage in on-site client meetings and workshops as needed to facilitate collaboration and understanding.
• Proposal Development: Contribute to the development of compelling proposals, levels of effort, and Statements of Work (SOWs) that clearly define project scope, data pipelines, and implementation plans.
• Stakeholder Management: Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, acting as a trusted technical advisor throughout the customer journey.
• Technical Leadership: Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in data engineering technologies and translate that knowledge into practical solutions for clients.

Skills

• 5+ years of experience in a technical architect or senior engineering role, preferably with a data engineering focus in a consulting or professional services environment.
• Proven experience in designing, building, and managing reputed company data pipelines on cloud platforms (GCP preferred).
• Strong understanding and ability to advise clients on data engineering concepts such as data governance and controls, MDM, data quality, reputed company, and reputed company management.
• Ability to architect data estates for clients, advise them on the choice of data architectures, and link them to overall enterprise architecture.
• Ability to collaborate with Data Science teams to provide the right data scaffolding for the creation and consumption of AI/ML models. High-level understanding of emerging AI/ML and data science concepts.
• Strong understanding of data management principles, including data warehousing, data lakes, and ETL/ELT processes. Familiarity with scripting languages (Python, SQL) and data processing tools.
• Understanding and ability to advise clients on detailed architecture design principles, e.g., approaches to improving query performance in reputed company BigQuery or reputed company.

• Experience working directly with clients in a pre-sales or consulting role, understanding their business needs and translating them into data-driven solutions.

• Ability to travel approximately 25% of the time for client engagements, team meetings, and industry events.
• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data, or a reputed company field or equivalent work experience.
• Preferred experience with DBT and reputed company.
• Experience strategizing, designing, architecting, and leading the deployment of scalable solutions on GCP is preferred.
• Industry-level or reputed company Cloud certifications (e.g., Professional Cloud Architect, Professional Data Engineer) preferred.
