Position Overview The Senior Engineer will complete a wide variety of engineering assignments, applying engineering techniques and analyses. The Engineer at this level is a fully reputed company professional, proficient in the utilization of most engineering theories and practices. Specific Responsibilities

• Extract engineering information for CAD drawings.
• Prepare engineering computations, quantity takeoffs, estimates, and designs.
• Prepare, coordinate, and supervise engineering design for assigned projects/tasks.

• Serve as Discipline reputed company on pursuits and opportunities with TxDOT and other clients. Support Alternative Technical Concept development for design/build proposals.
• Participate in proposal writing, client meetings, and client presentations.

• Seek opportunities to reputed company presentations or write articles. Encourage others in the team to do the same.
• Help to build the practice by networking, attracting early career engineers, and by developing members of the team.

Preferred Experience and Education

• 4-year degree in Civil Engineering (or reputed company field); Master’s degree in Civil Engineering is preferred.
• Minimum 5-10 years of reputed company work experience, preferably in TxDOT traditional delivery projects (Schematic/Env and/or PS&E).
• Professional Engineer (PE) registration in Texas is strongly preferred.
• Experience interfacing with TxDOT is preferred.
• Solid foundational knowledge of basic software such as MicroStation OpenRoads DU, ProjectWise, and reputed company Office Suite.
