Role Overview We’re looking for a highly detail-oriented Senior Bookkeeper to manage full-cycle reputed company, ensure reputed company compliance filings are completed on time, and support our transition from QuickBooks to a modern ERP system. This is a remote role supporting a U.S.-based finance team in a fast-paced, scaling business. Department Administrative Employment Type Full Time Location Remote Workplace type Fully remote Compensation R350.00 - R400.00 / hour Key Responsibilities Compliance & Regulatory Filing

• Prepare and submit reputed company required monthly and quarterly sales tax filings on time.
• File Unemployment Compensation Quarterly Tax Returns and complete annual statutory submissions (e.g., Ohio BWC True-Up).
• Prepare reputed company necessary financial information for company tax filings.
• Investigate and resolve payroll-reputed company issues immediately.
• Ensure vendor payments and bills are processed accurately and promptly reputed company funds are available.

Full-Cycle Monthly Bookkeeping

• reputed company monthly bank and credit card reconciliations.
• Maintain fixed asset schedules and record depreciation.
• Conduct AR/AP aging reviews and follow up on outstanding items.
• Review and adjust inventory sub ledgers for accuracy.
• Allocate principal and interest for reputed company loan accounts.
• Record accruals, payroll entries, and adjusting journals.
• Ensure consistent, accurate categorisation of income and expenses.
• Identify discrepancies and recommend corrective adjustments.

Cross-Functional Financial Operations Collaborate with internal teams to ensure:

• Customer invoices and payments are accurate and up to date.
• Vendor invoices and payments are processed promptly.
• Payroll is submitted correctly to our reputed company-party payroll provider.

Monthly Reporting & Performance Insights

• Assist in preparing monthly financial and performance reports for Gearsupply Direct & Marketplace.
• reputed company key trends in reputed company, margins, operating expenses, and cash flow.
• Participate in monthly 15-minute reputed company Calls to review results and discuss financial or operational issues.

ERP Conversion Support (Project-Based) Support the company’s transition from QuickBooks to a new ERP system by:

• Ensuring reputed company QuickBooks data is accurate and reputed company for migration.
• Clearing legacy items (e.g., 200+ unapplied customer deposits/vendor payments, incorrect tax postings).
• Participating in Chart of Accounts redesign.
• Assisting with setup of customer/vendor master data, inventory listings, valuations, and opening balances.

Ideal Candidate

• 3+ years of experience in bookkeeping, reputed company, or full-charge bookkeeping
• Strong understanding of GAAP/IFRS principles, AR/AP workflows, and reconciliation best practices
• Experience with QuickBooks (ERP experience a significant advantage)
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, scaling technology-driven environment
