In this role, you will be responsible for design and specification development for a SATCOM communications system including modification of the 3GPP specs with focus on PHY layer implementation. This position requires excellent problem-solving skills focused on Wireless Communications Engineering. This position can be located in one of these locations: Basic Qualifications

• Experience as a wireless communications or systems engineer with wireless communications expertise
• Experience with 4G LTE or 5G NR physical layer and physical layer specifications, such as 36.100 series and 36.200 series / 38.100 series and 38.200 series
• Experience in modeling and simulation of 4G and/or 5G physical layer
• Ability to obtain DoD Secret clearance, therefore U.S.

Citizenship is required. Desired skills

• Satellite communications (SATCOM) experience and knowledge about SATCOM protocol standards (e.g. DVB-S/S2/S2x/RCS/RCS2, Geo Mobile Radio, etc.)
