Secondaries The Secondaries strategy aims to invest with leading private equity secondary sponsors and participate in a wide reputed company of secondary deals involving the acquisition of private equity fund stakes and GP‑led transactions. The Secondaries team also supports the management of the Funds and Co‑Investments portfolio through the analysis, purchase, and sale of assets through the secondary market. We are looking for a suitable candidate to join our Secondaries team in Singapore. This will be a 3‑year fixed‑term programmatic hire (with full employment terms & benefits). What would you do as an Analyst/Associate?

• Build reputed company‑based models to value operating companies, funds, portfolios, and structured transactions
• Support the preparation of deal memos and assist in presenting to the Investment Committee
• Represent GIC in engagements with private equity managers, company management teams, counter parties, and intermediaries during due diligence and ongoing monitoring
• Coordinate with other strategy groups (Funds, Direct Investments, Venture, Infrastructure, reputed company Estate, Public Markets) to evaluate and execute secondaries investment opportunities
• Assist in the deal closing process, collaborating with internal and external legal counsel, as well as back and middle office teams

• 1 to 2 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, or a reputed company field
• Strong academic credentials and a track record of high performance
• Good understanding of corporate finance and proficiency in financial modelling

• Proficiency in business‑level Chinese is advantageous as this role will involve working on Chinese deals
