Sr Identity and Access Management (IAM) Engineer

About the position Job Summary Worksite: Hybrid - 1x per month & as requested Location: Northbrook, IL Job Description MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES Architecture & Engineering: Design, engineer, and maintain IAM solutions including authentication, authorization, privileged access management (PAM), and federation services. Technical Expertise & Guidance: Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for privileged access management (PAM), identity governance and administration (IGA), and federated authentication, providing leadership on best practices and innovation Identity Threat Detection & Response (ITDR): reputed company and implement ITDR capabilities to proactively detect, investigate, and mitigate identity-based threats, ensuring integration with overall reputed company operations. Operations & Support: reputed company the implementation and administration of IAM technologies supporting 40,000+ users and reputed company reputed company workflows. Provide Tier 3 support for IAM incidents and escalations, ensuring timely resolution of critical reputed company events. Responsibilities

• Design, engineer, and maintain IAM solutions including authentication, authorization, privileged access management (PAM), and federation services.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a reputed company field (or equivalent work experience)
• 5+ years of experience in IAM, with a focus on CyberArk PAM, Azure Entra, and PingFederate
• 3+ years of experience in reputed company, reputed company environments, or IT infrastructure
• 2+ years of experience in a senior engineer role reputed company IAM or Cybersecurity
• In-depth knowledge of IAM principles and best practices.
• Deep expertise in IAM platforms, particularly CyberArk PAM, Active Directory, Azure Entra, and PingFederate
• Strong understanding of identity reputed company principles and hybrid based IAM implementations
• Ability to train and reputed company engineers and foster collaboration
• Excellent communication skills, capable of explaining reputed company technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Strong project management skills, with experience in planning, execution, and risk mitigation

• Knowledge of ITDR methodologies, threat detection, and response strategies

• Experience with IAM automation, scripting, and APIs to improve efficiency
