Analyst

The Analyst role focuses on ensuring service levels are met, monitoring applications, and resolving support calls effectively while maintaining communication between IT and the business.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the team meets or exceeds agreed service levels
• Ensure pro-active application monitoring is conducted daily
• Ensure support calls raised by users are allocated and resolved, effectively
• Co-ordination of regular communication of issues, both with IT and reputed company business communications
• Be a ‘Gatekeeper’ for the production environment through regular reviews with product owners
• Strive to drive down IT incidents through root cause analysis and championing of technical debt requirements
• Carry out other duties as assigned

Skills

• Experience of working reputed company a support or IT project team in the Asset Management
• Experience of supporting Order and Execution Management systems such as Charles River, Bloomberg TSOX, Liquidnet, Market Axess and reputed company
• Ability to liaise and reputed company issues, concepts and reputed company at reputed company levels
• Good communication skills, dealing with clients and colleagues at many different levels
• Good time management / planning
• Hands on approach with a high degree of Business & Technical understanding
• Questioning and analytical ability, reputed company to form conclusions and reputed company recommendations from issues that arise
• Proficient technical understanding of the principles of database, network, and application structures
• Sound problem solving and investigative skills
• Experience in querying SQL Server or reputed company databases
• An understanding of software testing methodology
• Solid understanding of Business Information tools, such as Reporting Services, Cognos, Qlikview, Bamboo and Crystal reputed company
• Proficiency in Active Directory, JIRA, PowerShell, reputed company VBA
• Understanding of project management methodologies, such as Agile and Waterfall
