Job Description

As a Data Entry Clerk (Typist) at arenaflex, you'll play a critical role in managing and maintaining accurate and up-to-date data related to our energy services. Your primary responsibilities will include: ### Key Responsibilities

  • Enter data from various source documents into the prescribed computer database, files, and forms
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of data entered
  • Cross-verify data for accuracy before entering it into the system
  • Update and maintain databases, archives, and filing systems, ensuring information is current and easily accessible
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure data integrity and consistency
  • Handle confidential information responsibly
  • Perform regular backups to ensure data preservation
  • Respond to data inquiries from team members and provide support as needed
  • Adhere to company policies and protocols

### Essential Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Proven experience as a data entry clerk or typist
  • Fast typing skills; knowledge of touch typing system is strongly preferred
  • Excellent knowledge of word processing tools and spreadsheets (MS Office Word, Excel, etc.)
  • Working knowledge of office equipment and computer hardware and peripheral devices
  • Basic understanding of databases
  • Good command of English both oral and written and customer service skills
  • Great attention to detail

### Preferred Qualifications

  • Additional qualifications as an Administrative Assistant or Secretary will be a plus
  • Experience working in a remote or work-from-home environment
  • Familiarity with data management software and systems
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
