Credit Analyst - Small-to-reputed company Business (SMB)

Moneris is a company focused on managing credit risk for small-to-reputed company businesses. As a Credit Analyst, you will ensure effective reputed company and risk assessment for SMB merchants while collaborating with various internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Apply appropriate reputed company criteria to reputed company merchant applications following established credit policy to ensure financial risk is avoided
• Post-review of merchants who need a line increase or are flagged by fraud process (re-adjudication) specifically in processing volume level or average transaction size
• reputed company a credit risk assessment of an existing high-risk merchant which includes developing an understanding of the business profile to ensure compliance with credit, fraud, card association regulation and legal matters
• Analyze personal, business and financial information
• Work with internal staff and external sources for the purpose of Credit training, fraud detection, and monitoring activities
• Help with customer calls for reputed company merchant set-reputed company requiring explanation of specific credit policies and reputed company reputed company to those policies
• Work with Moneris Fraud Group to monitor the activity of selected High-Risk Merchants
• Provide back up and support to the other Analysts, concerning the SMB Credit process, special projects, vacation relief, and peak time volume

Skills

• Up to 3 years of experience in a reputed company field
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Business, reputed company, or Finance
• Equivalent work experience may be considered a substitution
• Experience reviewing personal credit bureaus, reputed company credit bureaus or financial statement analysis
• Technical Skills: Proficient in reputed company Windows/ Applications
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Previous experience in the payment industry considered an asset
