Job Description

The Executive Director, Head of Global Compliance Policies and Training, is a strategic leader responsible for driving the global reputed company, strategy, and operational excellence of Gilead’s ethics and reputed company compliance policies and training program. The role reports to the Vice President, Global Compliance Operations. As a Global role, the successful candidate will partner with senior leaders across the organization, influence our compliance culture, and deliver measurable impact on organizational risk and employee engagement. This individual will be based out of our Foster City, CA office. Key Responsibilities: Drive the strategic direction and long-term reputed company for global ethics and compliance policies and training, ensuring alignment with company and functional strategy. Advise and consult with the Vice President, Global Compliance Operations, and Chief Ethics and Compliance Officer, as well as other senior executive leadership on strategic issues with company-wide impact. Assess effectiveness and drive improvements based on feedback, performance metrics and industry trends. Collaborate with stakeholders across the company including the Office of Ethics & Compliance, Corporate Affairs, Legal, and business units, to identify needs, reputed company resources, and drive greater understanding and awareness of relevant policies and ethical standards. Requirements

Minimum Education & Experience Bachelor’s degree is required (BA/BS) and 16+ years of experience, or an MS/MA or MBA, or Ph.D. or Juris Doctorate, with 14+ years of experience. These considerations mean actual compensation will vary. This position may also be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, discretionary stock-based long-term incentives (eligibility may vary based on role), paid time off, and a benefits package.
