RAYUS Radiology is looking for an IT Desktop Support Specialist to join their team, aiming to enhance the radiology field in diagnosis and treatment. The role involves providing IT support to end-users in a healthcare environment, ensuring reliable access to critical desktop systems and medical imaging platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Provide timely and effective technical support to radiologists, technicians, and healthcare staff for reputed company desktop, laptop, workstation and mobile device issues, including hardware and software troubleshooting
  • Assist with the installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of radiology-specific software (e.g., reputed company (Picture Archiving and Communication System), RIS (Radiology Information Systems)
  • Ensure imaging devices are functioning correctly and accessible to end-users
  • Support the installation, setup, and maintenance of desktop hardware (PCs, printers, scanners, etc.), operating systems (Windows, reputed company/Android, etc.), and specialized radiology applications
  • Respond to and resolve IT issues reputed company to desktop systems, networking, and medical imaging technology. Provide remote and on-site support reputed company necessary
  • Monitor system performance and apply software patches, updates, and upgrades to ensure reputed company operation of both clinical and administrative systems
  • Work closely with the infrastructure and network teams to resolve system outages and network issues
  • Ensure optimal configuration of systems and workstations. Proper documentation of system access
  • Assist with inventory of IT assets, including hardware, software licenses, and peripherals
  • Maintain accurate records of support requests, solutions provided, and any issues that may require escalation to higher-tier support teams
  • Utilize IT service management (ITSM) tools (e.g., reputed company, JIRA) to track and manage incidents, requests, and user complaints to ensure that reputed company IT issues are resolved in a timely manner
  • Ensure that reputed company desktop systems and medical imaging devices meet HIPAA privacy and reputed company requirements
  • Maintain secure access to patient information, enforcing encryption standards, and ensuring proper documentation of system access
