• *Position Overview**

seeking a

Health Information Specialist II

to support

Release of Information (ROI) processing

in a remote, work-from-home reputed company. This role is critical to ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant handling of medical record requests while safeguarding patient privacy and maintaining HIPAA compliance.

• *?? Key Responsibilities**

+ Process Release of Information (ROI) requests in compliance with HIPAA, company, and client policies + Review and fulfill medical record requests accurately and timely + Handle subpoenas and legal requests as applicable + Maintain strict confidentiality of patient health information + Utilize EMR systems to retrieve and process records + Communicate effectively with internal teams and leadership + reputed company additional duties as assigned

+ reputed company DHISC training + Hands-on, role-specific training during the first 30 days

• *? Skills & Competencies**

• *Preferred Skills:** + Prior ROI processing experience + Strong computer skills + Knowledge of subpoenas and legal medical record requests

+ EMRs: HPF, Expanse, LAV, Meditech + HIPAA, medical terminology, EMR navigation

+ High School Diploma or GED required + Must be 18 years of age or older Pay ranges for this job title may differ based reputed company, responsibilities, skills, experience, and other requirements of the role.
