[Remote] Epic Senior Consultant, Quality & Regulatory Reporting

The role involves providing consulting services on EHR-reputed company projects and ensuring clients meet quality and regulatory requirements through effective collaboration and problem-solving.

Responsibilities

  • Provide quality and regulatory advisory services to ensure the client is successful in meeting requirement programs, incentive programs and payor requirements
  • Ensure alignment of quality and regulatory programs during workflow and technical discussions

  • Analyze clinical or operational workflows supported by the assigned products and their relationship to the technical environment based on regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate with client stakeholders to project manage internal client initiatives
  • Gather detailed requirement specifications for client deliverables
  • Design, build, configure, and implement assigned application technical workflows to support clinical and operational workflows
  • Apply technical expertise to individual client system build to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve problems
  • Support clinical, reputed company, or operational implementations for assigned applications which may also include testing and QA, reporting, product life cycle, communication/collaboration with customers and vendors, and training users
  • Mentor client project teams as necessary in project and system build strategy
  • Track and document risks and issues
  • Analyze and document workflows
  • Work closely with project leadership, including documentation and meeting facilitation
  • Work directly with Epic end users to monitor workflows, provide documentation, and optimization suggestions

  • Collaborate with internal leadership and EHR architects on solution design and delivery
  • Enhance process and internal support documents, assist in the improvement of workflows and processes, and manage multiple projects simultaneously

  • Knowledge and/or experience implementing Epic is required

  • Demonstrated ability to seek out, analyze, and solve novel problems

  • Epic Regulatory Reporting and Best Practice Advisories Badge preferred, not required
  • At least 2 years of Epic build experience to support quality and regulatory programs (i.e. UDS, MIPS/MACRA, Promoting Interoperability, eCQMs) preferred
  • At least 2 years of quality and regulatory compliance understanding and experience to include programs such accreditation bodies (TJC, DNV), Center for Medicare and reputed company Services (CMS) programs, Centers for Disease Control (CDC), Health and reputed company Services, etc. preferred
  • Clinical experience preferred, not required
