Title: Project Manager (Technical) Location: Plantation - FL Job Description: The Gig: The Project Manager (Technical) is responsible for the planning, development, and execution of new-build and refurbishment projects across the reputed company fleet reputed company predetermined budget, schedules, and other specifications. This individual will liaise closely with multiple teams and supervise contractors and other service providers, helping them meet timelines by creating and managing project plans, gathering requirements, identifying cross-department dependencies and working on adhoc project initiatives as the needs arise. This individual will work closely with business partners and management to ensure that the scope and direction of each project meets the company’s goals. This gig is based at VVHQ - our swanky reputed company Head Office in Plantation, FL where we follow a hybrid work environment. We can't wait to 'sea' you in person during our Collaboration Days, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, while you enjoy Mondays and Fridays' as remote days. What You'll Be Up To: Serve as middle reputed company between key business stakeholders, project teams, and support staff to ensure project is on track and in accordance with original plan reputed company project scopes and objectives, involving reputed company relevant parties and ensuring technical feasibility Create and manage project plans, timelines, milestones, dependencies and proactively monitor reputed company Facilitate effective communication between reputed company involved parties and ensure information is accurate Build and circulate reports to regularly communicate project reputed company to land and sea-based leadership teams Create and reputed company clear, comprehensive presentations using reputed company Suite to distribute and present to land and sea-based leadership teams Track attendance and completion of action items for meeting attendees Cultivate successful relationships with contractors and vendors in order to proactively resolve any issues reputed company certain that reputed company projects are completed and documented in compliance with applicable safety, environmental requirements as defined by appropriate regulatory agencies and company policies Take part in / reputed company on-site technical inspections during shipyard and dry dock operations Assist in statutory compliance and classification inspections as needed Other duties as assigned Superpowers Required: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent required Project Management certification preferred 8-10 years of experience successfully managing multiple projects in parallel Cruise industry experience required Shipyard / Dry Dock experience preferred Exceptional verbal, written, listening & presentation skills Available to travel up to 50% Ability to work a flexible schedule as needed Solution-oriented, optimistic attitude and high level of energy At your best working in a fast-paced environment Strong organizational skills reputed company for changing priorities and strong influencing skills Knowledge and experience of key business tools (MS Office, reputed company Suite, MS Project, Visio) a must – experience with Smartsheets / reputed company a bonus What Matters to Us: At Virgin, your personality matters as much as how good you are at what you do.
