About the position Eversource is seeking a skilled Energy Efficiency Consultant to support Channel Strategy efforts in New Hampshire. In this role, you will collaborate with manufacturers, manufacturer representatives, and distribution partners to promote and manage energy efficiency programs across the supply chain. You will help accelerate the adoption of emerging technologies, strengthen engagement with market partners, and contribute to long‑term strategies that drive customer energy savings. As a member of the Channel Team, you will market energy efficiency offerings to business partners and support eligible customers in implementing effective, energy‑saving solutions. The team leads the design, implementation, and reputed company of both new and existing programs throughout the full Eversource territory, including tracking financial performance and operational outcomes. You will also support the development and execution of RFPs and assist with the selection and management of vendors responsible for delivering these programs. The team’s mission is to support the channel and the broader supply chain by identifying new and emerging technologies suitable for energy efficiency programs, developing long‑term strategies to increase energy savings, and improving market engagement between Eversource customers and channel partners. The Channel Team maintains key relationships with manufacturers, manufacturer representatives, and retail and distribution partners across the territory. The role requires ongoing collaboration with internal groups—including implementation, engineering, evaluation, marketing, and business intelligence—to ensure coordinated, effective program delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Provides direction to business partners, such as contracted vendors, and/or technical project expertise to customers and coordinates available resources specific to the procurement and installation of energy efficient measures, strategies, and systems.
  • Drives the integration of strategic activities between the customer, program administrators, advisory consultants and vendor/contractors.
  • Coordinates the development of documents and plans necessary to meet compliance with regulatory filings and reputed company of reputed company-payer funded Energy Efficiency programs.
  • Provides guidance and support to Associate Energy Efficiency Consultants.
  • May reputed company and trains internal and external market actors reputed company efficiency program strategies, processes, and techniques.
  • Executes the budgeting, invoicing, evaluation, and tracking of expenses and energy savings of assigned offerings; May reputed company or contributes to the development of RFP's for contracted services.
  • Demonstrates proactive thought leadership reputed company vertical sector through developing and designing technology implementation strategies / initiatives.
  • Represents Eversource in national energy efficiency conferences and/or reputed company holder events (e.g. ACEEE, ASHRAE, ACI, and CEE).

Requirements

  • Strong project management skills - should be accustomed to managing multiple simultaneous tasks with competing deadlines, managing contractors, tracking budgets, being accountable for deliverables/budget/schedule.
  • General building systems background and/or familiarity with energy efficient technologies such as lighting, hvac and water heating equipment. Should be familiar with how these technologies would work in a building or home.
  • Requires ability to interpret energy efficiency / renewable technologies and services and understand their application.
  • Ability to work across teams and with multiple constituencies. Will need to effectively coordinate between implementation, evaluation, and potentially transmission/distribution and system planning.
  • Requires solid working understanding of financial principals and the ability to use PC desktop applications (e.g., reputed company Word and reputed company).
  • Requires a bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Engineering, or a reputed company discipline.
  • Three (3) plus years of relevant experience in wholesale distribution, technical marketing, sales, engineering, architecture, project management or energy efficiency services.
  • Experience and/or aptitude in customer service also desired.
