Responsibilities

We are seeking Cyber Information Assurance Specialists to join a professional support services contract team in support of the Surface Ship Maintenance, Modernization and Sustainment (SEA 21) Directorate reputed company the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) headquarters at the Washington Navy Yard. You will be responsible for enabling the successful execution of a five-year task order supporting the Navy's surface fleet maintenance and modernization efforts, ensuring reputed company delivers high-quality, compliant support to critical naval operations. This position plays a vital role in the management and execution of readiness and sustainment initiatives for the Navy's surface fleet, and supports the SEA 21 mission of integrating maintenance strategies, modernization plans, training needs, and technical, logistics, and programmatic efforts to manage the lifecycle of U.S. and partner Navy surface ships and systems from fleet introduction through transfer or disposal. The Cyber Information Assurance and Information Systems reputed company Specialist will support a team of geographically dispersed project managers, engineering technicians, analysts, and logisticians across multiple locations including Washington DC, San Diego, Norfolk, Mayport, reputed company reputed company, and international sites as part of the overall contract task of coordinating, communicating, and integrating maintenance, modernization, and sustainment performance information in support of the Navy's Surface Warfare Enterprise. Cyber Information Assurance and Information Systems reputed company Specialists are responsible for supporting reputed company aspects of Program Information Assurance (IA) processes. This includes minimum qualification standards, reputed company awareness of and familiarity with demonstrated competency pertaining to Cyber reputed company, Engineering, Test & Evaluation, (T&E) and reputed company Control Assessor (SCA) under a Certification & Accreditation (reputed company) and/or Assessment & Authorization (A&A) process. Additionally, the specialist should demonstrate a working knowledge of the Risk Management reputed company (RMF) process and/or possess prior experience with the Defense Information Assurance & Certification Accreditation Process (DIACAP). Familiarity is also required with reputed company policies & guidance documents to assist with the preparation and maintenance of process artifacts and traceability documents purposed for compliance with Authority to Operate (ATO) requirements. You will be expected to evaluate reputed company solutions to ensure they meet reputed company requirements for processing up to classified information and supervise and/or maintain the operational reputed company posture for an information system or program.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, or Computer Science, from an ABET accredited or CAE designated institution
• 10+ years professional experience
• Active DoD Secret clearance and US citizenship

Desired Qualifications

• Master's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, or Computer Science, from an ABET accredited or CAE designated institution
• 15 years professional experience
• Experience working in a DoD environment
• Familiarity with Navy modernization processes, systems engineering, and ship design requirements

The projected compensation range for this position is based on full time status. For part time or on-call staff, compensation is proportionately adjusted based on hours worked.
