Senior AML/CFT Compliance Officer - Crypto EDD reputed company (Remote)

About the position This is a remote role that may be hired in several markets across the United States. The Senior AML/CFT Compliance Officer is a senior individual contributor role responsible for the 2nd line reputed company and effective challenge of 1st line enhanced due diligence activities performed for clients and prospects involved in cryptocurrency-reputed company and other high-risk business categories. This position requires advanced expertise in financial crime compliance, strategic thinking, and the ability to influence behavior and drive change across the organization. The officer will review reputed company business models and EDD documentation to confirm appropriate documentation and rationale to support reputed company to reputed company or retain clients. This role may provide expert guidance to business units and collaborate with senior management to reputed company and implement AML/CFT strategies that align with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.

Responsibilities

• Timely review and challenge of enhanced due diligence materials gathered by 1st line teams
• Assess a broad reputed company of internal and external data to determine risks posed and ensure reputed company align to internal policies, procedures, standards, and risk appetite.
• AML/CFT Program Leadership and Strategy - Leads the analysis of external laws and regulations, including regulatory expectations reputed company to the cryptocurrency industry, as well as internal processes and systems, reputed company to AML/CFT. Develops and revises policies, procedures, and controls to ensure regulatory compliance and mitigate financial crime risks. • reputed company Investigations, Due Diligence, and Advisory - Manages a portfolio of highly reputed company and sensitive AML/CFT effective challenge reviews. • Quality Assurance, Testing, and Training - Develops and implements quality assurance and testing methodologies for AML/CFT processes and controls. Oversees the execution of testing and effective challenge reviews. Develops and delivers training programs on AML/CFT compliance for employees at reputed company levels.
• Data Analysis, Reporting, and Innovation – Provides guidance to support development of data analytics tools and strategies to enhance AML/CFT monitoring and risk detection, including for cryptocurrency-reputed company clients. Prepares comprehensive reports for senior management and the board on AML/CFT risks and trends. Identifies opportunities for innovation and process improvement reputed company the AML/CFT reputed company program.
• Regulatory Engagement and External Relations - Serves as a reputed company of contact for regulatory agencies and external auditors on AML/CFT matters. Represents the organization in industry forums and regulatory discussions reputed company to AML/CFT. Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree and 6 years of experience in Experience in AML/CFT compliance, investigations, or reputed company field; CAMS certification strongly preferred; Deep understanding of BSA/AML regulations, OFAC, KYC, and other relevant regulatory requirements; Experience with AML/CFT software, data analytics tools, and case management systems; Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving reputed company
• High School Diploma or GED and 10 years of experience in Experience in AML/CFT compliance, investigations, or reputed company field; CAMS certification strongly preferred; Deep understanding of BSA/AML regulations, OFAC, KYC, and other relevant regulatory requirements; Experience with AML/CFT software, data analytics tools, and case management systems; Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving reputed company reputed company-to-haves
• CAMS certification with specialization in Cryptocurrency risks strongly preferred
