• Provide Independent Challenge on risk management activities performed by the first line of defense (1LOD), including Risk and Control Self-Assessments (RCSAs), risk assessments for new business initiatives, and strategic initiatives with a focus on Multifamilyand/or Legal Risk.
• Evaluate application of methods, models, and analytical templates used to determine business areas that pose potential risks to the reputed company.
• Collaborate with team to evaluate and advise on the impact of proposed risks to the reputed company.
• Review processes to reduce risk using rigorous analysis.
• Partner with team to review and provide feedback to management on resolutions and control guidelines.

Qualifications

THE EXPERIENCE YOU BRING TO THE TEAM Minimum Required Experience

• 2 years of risk management experience, 4 years of experience preferred. Desired Experience
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
• Risk assessment and management skills including evaluating and designing controls, conducting impact assessments, identifying control gaps and remediating risk
• Influencing skills including negotiating, persuading others, facilitating meetings, and resolving conflict
• Adept at managing project plans, resources, and people to ensure successful project completion
