Provider Data Representative – Cigna Healthcare – Remote

Overview

Role Summary Utilizes independent judgment and discretion. Responsible for maintaining current provider data to ensure the quality of the network. May be responsible for overseeing and coordinating training and departmental reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Ensuring consistent communication with internal service partners and within the Dental Provider Data Management area.
  • Responsible for coordinating efforts to cleanse existing data, and improve Third Party Vendor loading processes.
  • Identifying data integrity improvement opportunities within Dental Provider Data Management to reduce inventory queues. Working closely with Contracting/Provider Relations, Quality, and Claims Managers and Supervisors to ensure the department is meeting its turn-around-time service level agreements.
  • Meeting with internal service partners to ensure understanding of large projects and determine the impact to all systems so that the desired results are achieved.

Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree preferred and/or equivalent work experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Superior problem solving, decision-making skills
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office tools and multiple Cigna systems
  • Team player with proven ability to develop strong working relationships within a matrix organization
  • Ability to manage in a production and matrix environment
  • Detail oriented

If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload. For this position, we anticipate offering an hourly rate of 18 – 28 USD / hourly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location. This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
