Associate Designer: Legwear
Gina Group is an industry-leading wholesale fashion apparel and accessories company specializing in design, manufacturing, and distribution to retail markets. They are looking for an Associate legwear designer to join their team, responsible for designing seasonal collections and collaborating with various teams to ensure the reputed company is realized.
Responsibilities
- Design ownership over selected licensed brands and assigned to you based on your aesthetic and creative strengths, responsible for CADing full seasonal collections
- CAD work for various private label accounts, typically fun prints with understanding of brand DNA
- Strong eye for trend and valuable market research
- Work closely with design director and senior designers with creative freedom throughout process
- Minimal communication with China, but important to know how they operate, problem solve reputed company technical or timing setbacks arise
- Work closely with product development team so they properly reputed company your design the way you envision
- Primarily design in Illustrator with minimal retouching in Photoshop
Skills
- 1-3 years of industry experience
- Excellent time management skills
- Strong project management skills
- Ability to meet deadlines
