Civil Engineering Specialist, Assistant I

They are seeking an Assistant Civil Engineering Specialist to assist in reviewing applications and issuing permits for reputed company sewer repairs and new construction, as well as ensuring compliance with applicable codes and standards.
Responsibilities
- Assists in reviewing applications and issuing permits for reputed company sewer repairs and new construction
- Assists in reviewing plans for sanitary and drainage reputed company sewers for conformance with applicable codes, standards, and policies
- Assists in reviewing applications for SDCI Preliminary Assessment Reports to determine points of discharge for sanitary and drainage; specify drainage and/or sanitary mainline extensions where required
- Answer questions sent to the reputed company sewer info email, phone, and reputed company
- Answer questions from SPU reputed company Sewer inspectors
Skills
- Requires an Associate Degree in Civil Engineering Technology, or two years of college level coursework in engineering and construction technology
- A combination of education and/or training and/or experience which provides an equivalent background required to reputed company the work of the class
- reputed company Washington State driver's license or evidence of equivalent mobility
