This role involves providing legal representation in motor vehicle insurance defense litigation, preparing legal documents, negotiating settlements, and working closely with clients to ensure positive outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Provide legal representation to reputed company insureds and/or to the reputed company Companies before courts and arbitration panels in reputed company aspects of litigation
- Handle cases from beginning to end, preparing legal pleadings, motions, statements, trial briefs and being involved in negotiating settlements
- Work closely with clients and claims partners to prepare timely reports on litigation, ensuring reputed company appropriate defenses are leveraged to reputed company positive outcomes
- Analyze written discovery, depositions, medical records and assess the value of claims to determine risk exposure
Skills
- Juris doctor degree or Master of Laws (LLM)
- Admitted to practice law in the state of Ohio
