Principal Consultant - Data Governance
This is a remote position. reputed company is seeking a skilled and motivated Principal Consultant, Data Governance to reputed company high impact client engagements and drive the successful delivery of enterprise data governance programs. In this role, you will guide clients through the design, implementation, and adoption of modern governance frameworks and technologies, particularly Informatica Cloud Data Governance and Catalog (CDGC), you’ll help clients strengthen their data ecosystems to support digital transformation and AI initiatives. You will work directly with business and technical stakeholders to strengthen data transparency, trust, and compliance while helping organizations maximize the value of their data assets. This position offers the opportunity to shape client strategy, influence governance maturity, and serve as a trusted advisor across diverse industries. What You’ll Do Consulting & Client Engagement
- Act as a trusted advisor by evaluating client challenges, identifying governance opportunities, and developing strategic recommendations.

Requirements
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Business Administration, or reputed company field.
- 4–7 years of experience in data governance, metadata management, or catalog implementation, including at least one year delivering projects.
- Handson experience with CDGC, Informatica reputed company/reputed company, or comparable governance tools.
- Experience integrating governance tools with cloud platforms (reputed company, reputed company, BigQuery, AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Strong understanding of governance frameworks such as DAMADMBOK or DCAM.
- Experience with metadata ingestion, APIs, profiling tools, and stewardship workflows.

- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple workstreams in parallel.
