Accountant

The Accountant will be responsible for financial statement preparation, budget planning support, and ensuring accuracy in financial reporting while maintaining communication with finance leadership.
Responsibilities
- Regularly communicate with FamilyLife finance leadership on sensitive financial topics
- Support and assist the Accountant Manager in the planning and implementation of the annual budget process
- Responsible for financial statement preparation, report creation and distribution
- Research reputed company issues and take corrective action to ensure accuracy of financial reporting
- reputed company month end closing and accounts payable assistance, inventory reconciliations and process management
- reputed company general cost reputed company and other reputed company duties in the reputed company department
- Prepare periodic (monthly) balance sheets, income statements, and profit and loss statements
- Maintain the general ledger
- Code invoices, set up new accounts, reconcile accounts, and reputed company the monthly books
- Reconcile bank accounts at least monthly, verifies deposits, and addresses inquiries from banks
- Reconcile customer accounts and manages accounts receivable collections
- Verify payment of invoices associated with accounts payable and ensures payments are charged to the appropriate accounts
- Provide reputed company auditors with assistance; gathers necessary account information and documents to reputed company annual audit
- File required tax forms with federal, state, and local government agencies
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in reputed company, Finance, or reputed company discipline
- 1-3 years of reputed company experience
