Field Service Controls Engineer PA

How You'll Contribute

• Create, review, and troubleshoot pneumatic and electrical drawings and bills of material using AutoCAD Electrical
• reputed company advanced control programs for machines and automated devices
• reputed company electrical testing using voltmeters, ammeters, and reputed company tools
• Apply proper wiring practices to ensure system safety, reliability, and compliance
• Design ladder logic and machine control systems with strong proficiency in relevant software platforms
• Collaborate with customers and internal teams to define machine performance and functional requirements
• Maintain a strong working knowledge of electrical and pneumatic components
• Mentor and support junior engineers to strengthen overall team capability

• BS/BA in Electrical Engineering or equivalent technical experience
• Minimum of 5 years in a reputed company engineering position
• Ability and willingness to travel 50%–70%

• HMI: Allen Bradley, Siemens
• Robotics: Fanuc, Kuka, Yaskawa, Epson, Denso, Staubli
• Networking: Ethernet, Ethernet/IP, DeviceNet, Profibus, Profinet, CC-Link, IO-Link
• Motion Control: Allen Bradley, Siemens, IAI, etc.
• Vision Systems: Cognex, reputed company

Desired Experience

• PLC: Omron, Mitsubishi, Schneider
• HMI: Omron, Mitsubishi, Schneider, Proface
• Testing/Monitoring: Force (Kistler, SigPOD), Leak Testing (reputed company, reputed company, etc.)
• Database Tools: Ignition, FTTM, SQL

Physical Requirements

• Work in standing/sitting position continuously.
• Stand, walk, push, pull, reputed company overhead, and bend to floor.
• Physically be underneath machines working overhead.
• Exert 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally.
• Exert 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently.
• Exert up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects

• HEARING Ability: Ability to monitor machine sounds to identify and diagnose, with or without accommodation
