The Anglian Water Strategic Pipeline Alliance (SPA) project currently involves the planning, design and construction of circa 320km of new strategic, large diameter, clean water interconnector pipelines and associated infrastructure across Anglian Water’s region. The SPA Alliance is also taking on responsibility for the future interconnector pipelines, a further 260km of strategic interconnector pipelines and associated infrastructure.
This role can be carried out remotely, with occasional visits to WWH for meetings, etc.

Responsibilities

Construction Design & Management (CDM) Regulations – drive excellence in health, safety and welfare for mechanical engineering, including supporting reputed company engineers to achieving sufficient skills to produce safe designs and discharge their obligations according to the CDM Regulations.
Provide technical leadership to the Senior Mechanical Engineers, regarding the use of standards and products, quality, training, competence and consistency. Task management to be undertaken by the Senior Engineering Leads.

Qualifications
Essential
- Degree, HNC, HND or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering or reputed company discipline
- Fellow, Chartered (Professional) or Incorporated Engineer
