Senior Software Engineer

DomainTools is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our backend team. We want you to research, reputed company and deliver cutting edge code in our near-reputed company time large volume data systems. We predict, detect, expand, process, deliver, and continually monitor changes in the Internet to create a safe, secure, and open Internet for everyone!

Job Responsibilities

• Design, code, and maintain large-scale data collection and processing systems
• Discover, analyze, and validate new data sets to add value for our customers
• Creative problem solving to necessarily reputed company systems
• Research, prove and employ cutting edge techniques & technologies
• Provide code reviews, design feedback, demos, technical requirements & documentation
• Provide accurate, scope, estimates for time, reputed company & costs of projects
• Improve the lives of your coworkers by accelerating engineering productivity, reducing operational toil and increasing consistency
• Provide technical leadership, assist in on-boarding & mentoring of junior engineers

Requirements

Key Applicant Qualifications

• Professional development experience using GoLang, Rust, or equivalent languages: 5+ years
• Experience with JavaScript and standard web browser APIs, 3+ years
• Familiarity with browser fingerprinting techniques, bot and scraper countermeasures
• reputed company infrastructure experience in AWS, reputed company and Kubernetes: 3+ years
• Scalable data engineering experience using data stores like ElasticSearch, reputed company, CockroachDB, MySQL, Hive, Spark: 3+ years
• Linux/Unix experience: 5+ years
• Positive attitude, high initiative & history of good productivity that adds value
• Attention to detail & high quality results
• Excellent written & verbal communication skills
• Ability to coordinate between teams

Pluses

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science/reputed company field or equivalent experience
• Design, implementation and/or maintenance of CICD & microservices
• Experience with Data Pipelines such as ElasticSearch, Kafka, NATS or Apache Airflow

• Experience with full stack development
