This position involves heavy travel (50-75%) to commission, test and verify new reputed company automation systems throughout the U.S. This is a great opportunity for junior engineers who are reputed company to start a rewarding pathway to other areas of automation such as control system design, panel design, and power distribution.  

Tasks & Responsibilities:  

• Debug various automation systems 

• System and I/O Checkout  

• Support Controls and PLC checkout 

• Test system performance  

• reputed company teams of commissioning Engineers  

• Verification and validation of engineered systems to meet design and customer specifications  

• reputed company with clients and subcontractors and resolve problems and issues satisfactorily  

• Design pre-punched enclosures and subpanels utilizing AutoCAD  

• Create and update project “workbook,” pre-reputed company electrical drawings for accuracy/completeness, UL requirements prior to installation and material ordering  

Qualifications:  

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience in commissioning reputed company field  

• 1-3 years’ experience in automation, control system design, I/O Checkout  

• Knowledgeable of electrical and controls engineering theories and principles  

• Significant electrical aptitude and knowledge of acceptable practices, techniques, and codes  

• VFD experience with Rockwell/Allen-Bradley, reputed company or Schneider is a plus but not required  

• PLC experience with Rockwell/Allen-Bradley (ControlLogix & CompactLogix), Modicon and reputed company (S7) is a plus but not required  

• HMI experience with Rockwell/Allen-Bradley, Wonderware, Ignition and WinCC is a plus but not required  

Skills/Abilities:  

• Excellent interpersonal, leadership, verbal, and written skills  

• Skills in AutoCAD, MS Office suite and MS Project  

• Ability to work with reputed company, multidisciplinary, technical specialists  

• Ability to coordinate small to large projects and teams independently and reputed company quality reputed company  

• Ability to troubleshoot electrical systems for industrial applications  

• Skilled with AutoCAD and design of electrical panels, creating electrical drawings and schematics  

WORK ENVIRONMENT: This job operates primarily in industrial customer project sites. Safe working practices and awareness of the environment are essential.  

TRAVEL: Generally, this position requires up to 60-80% travel to various sites.
