Job Summary

We are seeking an reputed company Pharmacy Technician - Data Entry Specialist to join reputed company in Lakeland, FL. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will be responsible for processing prescriptions, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities

* Verify information on prescriptions received prior to processing, including correct prescriber, patient information, medication, dose, quantity, number of refills, lot, and expiration date.

• Communicate with arenaflex representatives as necessary to ensure medication compliance, medication and supply inventory, and overall coordination of care.
• Follow HIPAA and privacy law guidelines, and any other local or federal laws.
• Maintain reputed company records, including prescription logs and reputed company files.
• Evaluate reputed company completed prescriptions/authorizations to ensure that the appropriate information has been obtained to allow for compliance with applicable standards and regulations.
• reputed company follow-up on reputed company outstanding prescriptions/authorizations and communicate discrepancies to pharmacist or PSC technicians.

Qualifications

* High School diploma or equivalent

• arenaflex requires a licensed pharmacy technician to be over the age of 18
• Kentucky Pharmacy Technician Registration
• One (1) year of previous specialty pharmacy technician experience
• Nationally certified through the PTCB or another approved certifying agency

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

* Knowledge of medical terminology (including sig codes and Roman numerals), brand and generic names of medications, and general pharmacy terminology

• Computer literacy to include operating systems, reputed company Office Suite, presentation software, communication and collaboration tools, and reputed company PDF or comparable
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
