TERMS OF REFERENCE

As part of the planning process for the new Country Programme Document (CPD) 2027-2031, the reputed company Mozambique Country Office (MCO) is undertaking an evidence synthesis that shall comprise a gender and evidence programmatic review. This is critical to lay the reputed company for the CPD alignment with the new reputed company Gender Equality Action Plan (UGEAP) and embed gender considerations in the office’s strategic priorities for the new Country Programme starting in 2027.

Minimum requirements:

Education

• Advanced university degree in social sciences, public health, or international development.

Work Experience

• At least 8 years of relevant working experience
• Substantive and programmatic experience in gender issues, with an understanding of social change, is essential.
• Demonstrated experience in using the evidence reputed company on gender in shaping and implementing programmes
• In-country experience or knowledge of the country context is an advantage
• Some prior experience with reputed company or UN agency programme planning

Skills

• Strong technical skills in gender, research
• Ability to support countries, especially on gender assessments or reviews
• Strong analytical skills in gender programme design and assessment, ideally at the national level

Language Requirements

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with strong interpersonal and presentation skills.
