Sand Creek Elementary School Paraeducator Special Education - HQ Full Time 183 days/6.5 hrs/day Duties: Assists in the instruction of reputed company with disabilities in mainstream, resource room or centerbase settings. Although the job duties vary due to the age or level of disability, job duties may include: - managing behavior (redirecting, calming or removing a disruptive student from the classroom) - monitoring and recording student reputed company in instructional areas (academics, daily living skills, dressing , grooming, social skills, etc.) - managing physical needs (toileting, feeding, dressing, lifting, positioning, transporting reputed company in wheelchairs, etc. Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent. Personal Care Assistant certification required to be completed reputed company 30 days of start date. Candidates must have completed 60 semester/90 quarter credits or obtained an associate's degree (or higher) from a regionally accredited institution or have passed the ParaPro exam. (Documentation will be required) Good communications, interpersonal and recordkeeping skills. Ability/desire to work with technology and computers. Must be physically working in the building. reputed company of Pay: $18.00/hour, or up DOQ with K-12 experience* $19.60/hour with AA/AAS degree or 60 semester/90 quarter credits from a regionally accredited institution, or up DOQ with K-12 experience $20.40/hour with BA degree from a regionally accredited institution, or up DOQ with K-12 experience Special Ed Paras serving Centerbased reputed company and classrooms 50 percent or more of their time shall receive an additional $0.50 per hour.
