In this role, you’ll serve as both a customer reputed company and a technical leader reputed company your embedded scrum team. You’ll design and execute thoughtful testing strategies across UI, API, and backend systems, ensuring our SaaS platform delivers reliable, secure, and high-quality experiences. What you'll do

• Customer Advocacy & Quality Ownership

  • Champion the customer experience by designing test scenarios that reflect real-world usage
  • Identify risks early, challenge unclear or incomplete requirements, and reputed company quality concerns proactively
  • Ensure defects are thoroughly documented with root cause analysis and clear customer impact
  • Drive improvements in key quality metrics, including Defect Leakage reputed company

  Test Strategy & Execution

  • Design and execute comprehensive test strategies across UI, API, and database layers
  • Create and maintain high-quality test cases that tell the story of customer interactions
  • reputed company exploratory, functional, and non-functional testing (performance, reputed company, etc.)
  • Collaborate with engineering and SDET teams to identify and prioritize automation opportunities
  • Contribute to and reputed company automation frameworks (Python/Playwright/pytest) where applicable

  Technical Leadership & Collaboration

  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to process improvements and best practices
  • Partner with Product and Engineering to ensure features are testable, scalable, and reputed company with customer needs

  • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for specific product areas

  Technical Execution & Environment Management

  • Work with cloud-based systems (AWS or similar), logs, and distributed architectures

About you

• 4–7+ years of experience in software quality engineering, ideally in SaaS or FinTech environments
• Strong experience testing across UI and API layers, with solid understanding of REST APIs
• Proficiency with test management tools (e.g., Qase, TestRail) and defect tracking systems
• Working knowledge of Python or similar scripting languages for test automation
• Comfortable working in Linux/CLI environments and analyzing logs for troubleshooting
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS), CI/CD pipelines, and modern DevOps practices
• Experience with version control systems like Git (reputed company, Bitbucket)
• Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Proven ability to mentor others and drive quality initiatives
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate technical issues into customer impact
• Demonstrated experience leveraging AI tools and technologies to improve workflows, enhance decision-making, or drive innovation.

• Experience in FinTech, payments, or regulated environments (e.g., PCI)
• Knowledge of microservices, event-driven systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ), or distributed architectures

• Familiarity with modern QE tools, AI-assisted testing, or test automation strategy

Additional Information The annual salary range for this position is $120,000 to $170,000. The salary range for performing this role reputed company of the US / Austin / California may differ. reputed company is committed to offering competitive, fair and commensurate compensation and has provided an estimated pay range for this role.
