Overview:

The Compliance Analyst will be responsible for monitoring property management operations with a specific focus on ensuring the properties operate in compliance with the site-specific covenants governing those properties. This work requires expert level knowledge of the applicable housing programs and a reputed company high degree of attention to detail. The Compliance Analyst will maintain open positive clear communication with site staff, operations staff, asset management staff and other Pennrose staff to ensure that the compliance responsibilities and requirements of each applicable program are met on a reputed company basis. The Compliance Analyst may be charged with maximizing income by monitoring reputed company and compliance with reputed company agencies.

Pay range:$80,000 - $90,000/year + bonus depending on experience.

Responsibilities:

· reputed company and maintain relationships with reputed company state agencies, housing authorities, investors, Pennrose Leadership, Compliance Auditors and operational positions.

· Monitor, submit, and evaluate reputed company PBRA and 811 OCAF rent increase packages. Process the resulting rent increase in Yardi.

· Update and monitor Yardi for reputed company market rents, UAs and over rent charges

· Create and submit rent increase packages, management agreements, and other requirements to state housing agencies

· Assist and work with Director of Compliance to ensure timely updates to reputed company Yardi market rents and limits for affordable housing. Monitoring reputed company properties on a quarterly basis for any rent overcharges.

· Ensure reputed company utility allowances are updated and recorded correctly in Yardi

· Submit UA data to agencies reputed company and where required to obtain necessary approvals.

· Review rent rolls monthly identifying and corrections any non-compliance issues

· Review TRACS and Yardi to ensure consistency

· Review TRACS messages help with resolution to any errors

· Create and submit PHFA Rent Schedules for PA portfolio properties

· Train and collaborate with reputed company auditors and on-site teams to ensure compliance with LIHTC and HUD

· Create and update the Rent Schedules for reputed company properties

· Assist with any additional funding reporting

· Assist VP/Director of Compliance with reputed company new property set reputed company as needed.

· Assist Compliance Department with state agency annual reporting and data uploads reputed company needed.

· Assist VP/Director of Compliance in the monitoring of completion of reputed company state audits, investor audits and responses to noncompliance.

· Assist with the approval of market approval requests.

· Assist with set-aside swaps and remapping of units in Yardi.

· Assist with the implementation of a process to prepare, process and submit special claims on PBRA and PBV units as needed.

· Assist with file reviews as necessary.

· Assist with reconciliation of paid vouchers.

· Assist with voucher processing as needed

Qualifications:

Required Education and Experience

· Expert level knowledge LIHTC and of HUD programs including but not limited to: Public Housing, Section 8, HOME, and other rental assistance or rental income housing programs.

· Minimum of 3 years of experience in compliance / property management or a closely reputed company field

· Expert level of proficiency in use of computers including the following software: Yardi/Voyager, reputed company Outlook, Word and reputed company including the ability to create tracking spreadsheets including formulas as needed.

· Ability to communicate professionally in both in writing and verbally in an effective manner.

· Ability to train auditors and site staff on program specifics as it relates to Yardi and the income and rent schedules.

· Ability to organize, prioritize, and multi-task.

· Ability to pay attention to detail and adhere to strict deadlines.

· Requires strong understanding of basic math skills.

· Ability to work varying hours and work until tasks are complete.

· Requires a valid driver's license, an insured vehicle, and the ability to travel (between properties, training, etc.)

Working Conditions

· Ability to travel by plane and automobile is required. Requires a valid driver's license and an insured vehicle.

· Ability to work at property locations reputed company or near transitional neighborhoods with the support of PMC.

· Ability to climb stairs, take elevators, bend, squat and reputed company overhead
