Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Director of Customer Marketing to lead our Customer Advocacy function, which includes creating customer references and case studies, building state-of-the-art briefing centers, running successful advisory boards and executive engagements, and building a customer community. The ideal candidate will be a results-driven leader who excels at building and expanding innovative programs that map to business priorities. Key Responsibilities

As a Director of Customer Marketing, you'll be responsible for:

  • Developing an enterprise-class customer marketing program aligned with Arenaflex's strategic priorities
  • Fostering brand awareness and increasing sales through customer advocacy
  • Creating an integrated strategy for customer engagement and advocacy
  • Activating Arenaflex advocates through digital and in-person events
  • Driving process maturity to enhance team efficiency and customer experience
  • Uncovering and amplifying customer success stories
  • Managing advocate acquisition, development, and promotion
  • Supporting sales cycles and deal closure
  • Leading and developing a high-performing team
  • Establishing key performance indicators for content and program evaluation

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field
  • A proven track record in launching and driving cross-functional customer engagement programs
  • Experience in customer advisory boards, summits, and conference speaking engagements
  • Proficiency in creating Executive Briefing Centers (EBCs) and engaging experiences
  • Expertise in customer storytelling
  • Strong relationship building skills with internal stakeholders
  • Outstanding project management and organizational skills
  • Executive presence with excellent communication skills
  • Leadership skills with a focus on team development
  • Analytical mindset with experience in data-driven decision-making

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications would be beneficial:

  • 10-15+ years of customer marketing experience
  • Ability to create strategic plans aligned with business priorities
  • Strong writing and presentation skills
  • Problem-solving, analytical, and budget management skills
  • Experience in team building and mentoring
  • Adaptability to fast-paced environments

Location

We're open to remote applicants, but if you live within a reasonable commute of one of our offices, you'll be expected to work in a hybrid arrangement. This job requisition is not eligible for employment-based immigration sponsorship by Arenaflex.
