Private Practice Dietitian (1099 Contractor)

Location: 100% Remote (must reside in North Carolina) Position Type: Part-Time Contract Role with Opportunity to Grow About Eatquilibrium Eatquilibrium is a growing, insurance-based private nutrition practice based in North Carolina providing personalized nutrition counseling and medical nutrition therapy to individuals with a wide range of health goals and conditions. Our mission is simple: to provide a balanced, sustainable approach to nutrition. We help a wide range of clients move from frustration and confusion to feeling confident, empowered, and energized in their health. As a fully virtual practice, we make care accessible while delivering high-quality, individualized support through one-on-one counseling, with plans to expand into corporate wellness, workshops, and group programming. Position Overview We’re looking for a Registered Dietitian to join our practice as our first clinician hire and begin seeing clients shortly after onboarding. Our practice is currently booking ~3 weeks out for new clients, with strong retention (most clients continue for 5+ sessions). We are looking for a dietitian to take on this demand and help expand access to care. This is a 1099 contractor role ideal for a dietitian who:

• Enjoys working with a variety of clients and conditions
• Is confident practicing independently in a virtual setting
• Wants flexibility and autonomy in their schedule
• Is excited to grow alongside an early-stage practice

You will be able to build your caseload over time with a consistent stream of referrals, while maintaining control over your schedule. What You’ll Do

• Provide individualized nutrition counseling via telehealth
• Conduct nutrition assessments and develop personalized, evidence-based care plans
• Support a diverse client population (chronic conditions, general wellness, weight management, etc.)
• Build strong client relationships to support retention and long-term success
• Complete timely documentation in a HIPAA-compliant EMR
• Communicate with clients between sessions as needed

What You Bring

• Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN), CDR Certified
• Licensed (or eligible for licensure) in North Carolina
• Outpatient or private practice experience preferred
• Comfortable working independently in a virtual setting
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Organized, reliable, and self-directed
• Interested in being part of a growing practice

Compensation

• $60-70 per completed client session (based on experience)
• Paid for all completed sessions, including late cancellations/no-shows when fees are collected
