VA Licensed Therapist / LPC / LCSW / LMFT - 1099 Contractor

Family Wellness and Connections LLC is dedicated to promoting the mental, emotional and social well-being of those in the Commonwealth of Virginia. We provide treatment for adolescents, adults, and couples who have been diagnosed with a wide range of mental health and/or substance use disorders and also work with clients who are working through life transitions and adjustments. We have culturally competent clinicians and work with individuals who come from diverse backgrounds. We strongly encourage clinicians who have a strong understanding of Asian culture to apply and join our team. Skills & Knowledge: The therapist must possess strong clinical writing and verbal communication skills, must have experience providing counseling and have experience working with persons with serious mental, emotional and/or behavioral disorders, substance use and/or co-occurring disorders. The Therapist must have experience and knowledge of crisis interventions and various therapeutic modalities. The Therapist must possess skills and knowledge of successful rapport building, treatment planning, evidenced-based counseling practices, diagnostic criteria, and assessment completion. The Therapist must have knowledge of the impact of trauma on an individual’s functioning, and have experience working with diverse populations. Licensed Therapist Details:

• 100% remote work
• 10-30 hrs per week - You decide your schedule
• Perform your work anywhere that has a reliable internet connection

Licensed Therapist Requirements:

• Active VA Licensed
• Independent VA License Required
• Following credentials are accepted - LPC, LCSW, LMFT

Language:

• No requirement, but strongly encourage Korean, Chinese, Vietnamese

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract Pay: $72.00 - $150.00 per hour Benefits:
