Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Bilingual Customer Service Representative to join our Ground Services team. As a key member of our customer support team, you will be responsible for addressing inbound client requests, handling credit card payments, and providing exceptional customer service to our clients. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team and contribute to the success of arenaflex.

Key Responsibilities

* Handling Inbound Client Requests: Respond to incoming calls from Canadian and U.S. clients regarding their FTNC-FXG freedom receipt and direct them to the suitable FTNC division or FedEx OPCO for resolution.

  • Investigating and Resolving Issues: Investigate questions related to FTNC clearances for FXG shipments into Canada and provide clients with a resolution.
  • Processing Credit Card Payments: Process credit card payments from clients, ensuring that the payment is approved and not declined.
  • Logging Installments Accurately: Log installment accurately against the receipt in the FTNC accounting system.
  • Liaising with Clients: Liaise with clients directly in the event of installment handling issues, such as wrong credit card number, incorrect expiry date, or declined payment.
  • Examining and Resolving Credit Issues: Examine and answer clients on any issues related to credit installment received and liaise with the FTN Record Receivable Office to resolve issues.
  • Assisting the Charging Division: Assist the charging division in preparing credit notes for FTNC solicitations in question resolution.
  • Providing Internal Customer Service: Uphold FedEx Express Customer Support Agents on questions related to FXG shipments in customs clearance delay or FTNC freedom receipt that the client has received in mail.
  • Sorting and Relating Low Value Shipment (LVS) Archive: Sort and relate LVS Archive for the purpose of mailing.
  • Answering Questions from Other OPCOs: Answer questions from other OPCOs.
  • Preparing FTNC Solicitations: Prepare FTNC solicitations to ship to clients, as required.
  • Performing Other Duties: Perform other duties as allocated by the Manager.

Requirements

* Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field.

  • Language Skills: Fluency in French and English, both written and verbal.
  • Technical Skills: Working knowledge of MS Office, Standpoint, IBM AS 400 Centralized computer application framework, and office equipment (fax machine/scanners/printers/scanners).
  • Customer Service Skills: Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to connect with a large number of clients and representatives.
