• Overview: The Edtech Business Development Associate (BDA) – Night Shift (US) will play a crucial role in expanding our client base within the US market. This is a remote, night shift position focused on generating leads, closing deals, and building strong relationships with educational institutions and individual educators. The primary objective is to drive revenue growth by successfully selling our edtech solutions through outbound sales efforts.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Generating leads through various channels including cold calling, email marketing, and social media outreach.
  • Qualifying leads and determining their suitability for our products/services.
  • Conducting product demonstrations and presentations to prospective clients.
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients throughout the sales cycle.
  • Negotiating contracts and closing deals.
  • Accurately tracking sales activities and performance metrics in CRM software.
  • Providing regular updates on sales progress to management.
  • Participating in sales training and development programs.
  • Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities within the US education market.
  • Staying up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activities.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in using CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Experience with video conferencing software (e.g., Zoom, Google Meet).
  • Familiarity with marketing automation tools (desirable).
  • Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Education, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in sales, preferably within the education or technology sector.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong work ethic and ability to work independently in a remote environment.
  • Ability to work effectively during US night shift hours (flexible schedule required).
  • Skills & Experience:
  • Sales: Exceptional sales skills are paramount for this role. Candidates should possess a proven track record of success in closing deals, building rapport with clients, and effectively managing the entire sales cycle. Experience with consultative selling and objection handling is highly desirable. We are looking for individuals who are driven, results-oriented, and possess a strong understanding of sales methodologies. The ability to adapt communication style to different client needs is essential. Experience with inside sales or remote sales is preferred.
