Job Description:

Lead end-to-end migration of cloud infrastructure from AWS to Azure
Assess current AWS architecture, dependencies, and workloads
Design and implement equivalent Azure-based solutions
Migrate core services, including: Compute (EC2 → Virtual Machines), Storage (S3 → Blob Storage), Serverless (Lambda → Azure Functions), Databases (RDS / DynamoDB → Azure SQL / Cosmos DB), Networking (VPC → Virtual Network)
Reconfigure identity and access management (IAM → Entra ID / RBAC)
Migrate monitoring and logging (CloudWatch → Azure Monitor)
Transition messaging and queueing systems (SQS / SNS → Azure Queue / Service Bus / Event Grid)
Implement infrastructure as code using Bicep or ARM templates
Migrate containerized workloads (ECS/EKS → AKS, ECR → Azure Container Registry)
Ensure security best practices and compliance throughout migration
Perform testing, validation, and optimization post-migration
Document architecture, processes, and handover guidelines

Requirements:

Proven experience with both AWS and Azure cloud platforms
Hands-on experience with cloud migration projects (AWS → Azure preferred)
Strong knowledge of: Compute, storage, networking, and database services in both environments
Identity and access management (IAM, RBAC, Azure AD/Entra ID)
CI/CD pipelines (CodePipeline, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions)
Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, AKS/EKS)
Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools (CloudFormation, ARM, Bicep, Terraform is a plus)
Strong troubleshooting and performance optimization skills
