Key Responsibilities

As an Experienced Customer Service Representative I, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing customer services relating to sales, sales promotions, installations, and communications
  • Validating the ship-to and replenishment locations of orders with sales and operations partners
  • Ensuring accuracy of PO (Bill Only, Ship and Bills, GHX, and other future EDI platforms) entry as the front line for data entry, pushing back where necessary
  • Checking and validating accuracy of incoming surgery product usage cases
  • Developing creative solutions to customer issues, providing phone support for inquiries from sales and healthcare professionals
  • Maintaining records of customer interactions and transactions, recording details of inquiries, complaints, and comments, as well as actions taken
  • Providing proactive updates on order status to accelerate billing process
  • Supporting the Sales Department by providing answers to questions generated by telephone, e-mails, and fax, researching responses with sales
  • Building relationships with hospital billing specialists and supporting surgery product usage questions to accelerate billing process, following up to collect purchase orders and clarify discrepancies
  • Supporting Sales Reps in case of product usage pricing or discrepancies

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Two (2) years' relevant work experience

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, experience as an account representative or proficiency in Oracle would be beneficial.
