Proven MLOps in real production: containerized deployment (Docker/Kubernetes), monitoring, drift detection, governance, automated retraining/CI-CD. Strong ML stack + Cloud ML platform: PyTorch/TensorFlow/JAX and AWS SageMaker or Azure ML or Google Cloud Platform Vertex AI (at least one). Client-facing technical authority: 5+ years consulting/BizDev can scope/shape AI work, present to clients/executives, and author proposal/white-paper content. Technical leadership at org scale: sets engineering standards, mentors teams, and can lead/anchor an AI center of excellence/community of practice.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced AI / Machine Learning Principal to join a growing digital innovation team focused on building client-facing applications and technology-driven solutions. This role will play a key part in designing, developing, and scaling AI-powered capabilities embedded within products, workflows, and enterprise applications. This is a hands-on technical leadership role, not a purely strategic or governance-focused position. The ideal candidate will actively build and deploy AI solutions, working across engineering, data, and business teams to translate real-world needs into practical, production-ready systems. Responsibilities include designing and implementing machine learning models, integrating AI into applications, and driving end-to-end solution delivery from concept through deployment. You will also help shape how AI is applied within products, contributing to a practical and value-driven approach to AI within the organization. This is a high-impact opportunity to influence the direction of a newly forming team and bring AI initiatives to life within real-world products and client solutions. Primary Skills Required Experience

• 10 years of experience in software engineering, AI/ML, or advanced analytics
• Proven experience building and deploying AI/ML solutions in production environments
• Strong expertise in machine learning algorithms, neural networks, and model design
• Hands-on experience developing and integrating AI capabilities into applications or products
• Demonstrated ability to translate business requirements into technical AI solutions
• Experience delivering end-to-end solutions, from concept through implementation

Preferred:

• Experience building AI-enabled or client-facing digital products
• Background working in fast-paced or build-stage environments
• Experience collaborating across technical and business stakeholders
• Familiarity with data science tools and ecosystems (e.g., Python, R, visualization tools)
